Best way to simulate weather in a lab is to use a reflux condenser with a volatile solvent. 

The hot solvent vapors (in this case the azeotrope of butanol and water) cool down, condense to give saturated vapor (that small cloud at the top) that turns into a liquid what falls back into the hot flask under the condenser and everything starts again.

In organic chemistry we use usually five type of condensers: Liebigb (straight type) Allihn condenser (straight type) Graham condenser (coiled type) Dimroth condenser (cold finger, coiled type, on the gifs) and Friedrichs condenser (cold finger, spiral type).
