This is part of the Doctor Celine x Polytrix AU I talked about in a previous post.
Celine's hands flinched as she pulled up Rumi's sleeve to get at her wound. "Rumi are these... demon patterns?" Her voice was uncharacteristically shaky and quiet. Rumi used her uninjured hand to gently grab Celine's wrist. "Do you trust me?" Gone was the overconfident fighter that saved Celine just 30 minutes ago in its place was someone softer. Rumi's coffee stained eyes shimmered in light of the full moon. Celine could see the care in them but also the deep pain hidden below. "yes" Rumi slowly guided Celine's hand back down to upper arm, Celine's finger tips finding one of the sharp lines of her patterns which now glowed in a swirled mixture of purple and orange. "They are..." Rumi reassured herself with a quick breath, "I was born with them. They don't hurt." Celine swallowed a large dollop of spit before she asked, "But... how?" "My father was a demon." Rumi again slowly moved Celine's hand, guiding them up and down her patterns. A warm pink followed wherever Celine's fingertips touched. "Don't you think you should cover them? What about Mira and Zoey?" "They know. I already hide so much from everyone... I can't hide who I am to the people that I... love." Rumi lifted hand to cup Celine's cheek. "You don't have to hide either." Tears started to well up in the older woman's eyes and her jaw started to tremble. Her whole life all she could do was perform the perfect version of herself. Now, with the chance to finally be herself all she could think of was all the ways she could mess up. "What if... its not... I'm not perfect?" A single tear slow dripped down Celine's face before being brushed away by Rumi's thumb. "You already are." Rumi pulled Celine close, stopping with just a half inch of air between their lips, giving Celine the option to pull away. Celine closed her eyes and let go.
I’m not a big fan of Celine/Rumi because in all honesty I find it really gross
BUT I do think it could be enjoyable if done right
There’s a sapphic manhwa called Kill Me Now and essentially it’s about a woman who kills a child’s father when she’s about 10/11 years old in an act of revenge, takes the kid (for whatever reason) and tells the girls that she can and should try to kill the woman
I feel like the entire concept of that manhwa would be very fitting in the context of KPDH.
Demon Dad ruins Celine’s life somehow, Miyeong being long dead before any of the events happen (post-birth), and Celine has enough and kills him
She finds Rumi hiding in the closet after she does what needs to be done
Fast-forward 10 years, what should be murderous intent is now an obsessive-sexual thing and now Rumi wants Celine in every way because that’s the best way to torture an emotionally repressed, suicidal woman

I also recommend Kill Me Now if you can handle the topics in it (rape, human trafficking, torture (of the evil people mostly), a few more that I can’t think of off the top of my head). It is an absolute masterpiece in my opinion, other than the smut being sort of male-gazey but the creator is straight and she did try her best
I'm not going to yuck your yum but this is just not why I write crack ships like Rumiline. For me the fun is in making it not problematic (ie no grooming). I see it as a challenge. For example my Doctor!Celine x Polytrix idea doesn't have Polytrix show up until after all of them are adults and there is no power dynamic. The story stops being about the taboo and starts being about the characters. In the Doctor!Celine x Polytrix the main character is Celine and whole character arc is about her rejecting tradition and learning be and love herself.
