Some still shots of the celtic war knife build. It's a low layer pattern with a forged ring pommel and globular grip adorned with cultural geometric patterns. The scabbard is of simple wood construction with forged bronze and copper fittings wrapped in hemp cord. . The balance is quite lovely and the grip is surprisingly comfortable. Doesn’t look like too much so far! But it’s getting to where it wants to be. Just need to tweak the curls a little more and start rough grinding the blade. I also plan on putting a brass bolster and pommel on this one so keep an eye out for the progress on that! Thanks everyone!!
A short spear and dagger in the works! Those two are available and I was thinking of making them a set. The sword is a custom Celtic/ le tene sword. Still have a ways to go on that one. Thanks everyone!!
Taking some inspiration from the antenna swords for this one. With the handle I am thinking of a brass liner with an antler handle and having my none other then @the_bone_carver on IG work his magic. Then we will have a wooden core sheath with a leather wrap and some detailed tooling done by my wife. This is going to be a beautiful one of a kind blade and I can’t wait to start making some more progress on it. Thanks everyone!!
