Triquetra / Trinity Knot / Celtic Triangle - Symbolising the unity of of three forces. God, Goddess and Man. Heaven, Hell and Earth. Sky, Land and Sea. The Mother, the Maiden, and the Crone. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. There is no one answer that is entirely correct for this power symbol. As with most of my paintings of late, I go in without any preconceived ideas as to color choices. I paint the “next” section that catches my eye and I use the color that either pops into my head, or the one I see when I look over at my paints, or the one that feels like it wants to be in that particular section. It’s a step-by-step process.

I use Holbein, Golden, and M. Graham acrylics paints, matte medium, and gel pens on Canson mixed media paper.
