Eric had found himself in Pride University. 

He had already been at his apartment, had unpacked his things, weren’t far too many things so it hardly took him that much time and had given himself a small tour of the town. 

That had taken longer, but that was to be expected in a magical town. The streets always changed, appeared different after you went to walk on them a second time around. Eric has had a few experiences of this already from previous magical towns he has inhabited. 

But those were always near the ocean. 

He always settled into coastal regions where he was right next to the sea. This was different now, and Eric was simply trying to go along with it all. And so, he was at Pride U where he will be working, bigger than most other Universities he has taught in, but coastal campuses were normally smaller. 

Eric wanted to get a feel for the place, just like he had the town. It was something he always did first when moving to somewhere new, scour his surroundings. His eyes fell over a woman who was sitting on one of the benches outside. Realizing that help will allow him to reach his destination faster, Eric approached the woman offering a gentle smile.

Peri always knew better than to stay up late watching scary movies. She loved them but they made her mind wonder. It was something she was used to and something she normally was smart about. But instead, she happened to do exactly that. Freak herself out in the middle of the night and have a restless sleep. So the next morning she was half aware as she got ready for the day. Until she heard the door open beside her and footsteps. Most normal people would think neighbours, but she didn’t have any on that side. Cautiously walking to her front door she peeked out and peeked over to figure out what was going on (bravery at an all time high) only to see someone she sort of recognized and she just blinked. “Looking at new places?”

Georgette was on her way to Hatter’s. She was in the mood for coffee. She needed a strong one, straight black, espresso, whatever honestly. It wasn’t so much a craving, she couldn’t get hungry after all, but more so that coffee was sobering.

She has been on edge. 

Ever since her latest trip to New York, Georgette has remained unsettled and now that she has received confirmation of Cassandra officially and publically pressing the charges against Ryan, everything had heightened.

Social media has been burning up like wildfire. 

Georgette, in fact, has sworn off all of her social media facets. It has been to the extent where she hasn’t allowed herself to watch the news. She couldn’t bear to read or hear what people were probably saying about everything. She has already been a victim of the brutality and harassment of social media, she wasn’t ready just yet to face that again. 

She’ll toughen up, she knew that she would, but right now, coffee was the only thing present in her mind. 

Thankfully, Hatter’s wasn’t busy at all, and Georgette was able to get her order rather quickly. However, when she took that first sip from her cup, the blonde immediately knew the drink was not what she ordered. When she turned to communicate that to the register, he offered his apologies and explained they had mixed up the order with another woman who was waiting. As Georgette turned to look and see who it was, long and behold, she realized she already knew the woman. 

Hercules’s ex. Oh, Georgette’s morning was going great. 

“That coffee you are about to drink is a long black. I’m afraid you’re going to need a new order.” Considering that Georgette has already taken a sip out of Celia’s.

Eric was out in town taking some time to give Max some fresh air and stretch out those legs of his. 

He had settled in by now, all thing in place as they should, work going smoothly (he actually had some pretty decent students), got use to the mapping of the town. Although, he certainly wasn’t blind by any means, he could see the fauna that had started to encroach the town, the tree lines, those flowers.... it was all looking like Enchantra itself. 

The prince has been around to many a places, but no town has yet to start growing a forest of it’s own in it’s main streets. This was certainly something new. 

Max, however, didn’t seem to mind it one bit, the Old English Sheep Dog excitingly sniffing at all the new exotic flowers that grew along the paths. Eric would bring him back to his side and could swear he heard them whisper things, information he was sure he was not suppose to know about the people here in town.

Although, all information was always a good thing. At least in his book.

His legs had carried him right to the lake, Eric finding that a body of water would do him good against all the foliage suddenly growing in burst. There was certainly some magic afoot here but those thoughts soon became distracted when Max had suddenly charged off in a run. 

Eric followed him in a run, calling his name when the big fur ball barked happily playfully sniffing at someone sitting by the lake edge. It didn’t take long for Eric to realize that he knew those long silky strands of dark brown hair, and warm tanned skin. 

“In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.”
