The desert rock rose up before him into a vortex that rippled with blue energy. From its center emerged a massive celestial serpent which soared away into the clouds, leaving in it's wake, glass rings fused from the very earth. Such portals had been conjured here before. The surrounding landscape gave evidence to that with awesome arcs and curves, crumbled and eroded rings from the past. "This was sacred land.
