Without drawing false equivalencies, this circumgender stuff reminds me of "trans ethnic" white people. Folks want to appropriate the struggle in order to not have to hold themselves accountable for their oppressive actions and thoughts.
The underlying concept? Yeah I could see the comparison.
I don't think the comparison is really necessary (they really never are necessary, I think we can describe oppressive stuff just fine with concepts instead of comparisons) but I can see it.
Ultimately this ftmtf bullshit (which I'm going to keep calling it) comes down to a bunch of dfab girl identified people who seem to think they can get benefits from being dmab and a woman somehow because they do not comprehend or believe in transmisogyny. They are all transmisogynists, whether by ignorance or design and their identity arises from that.
Some can be reasoned with. Others are scum and should be crushed.
