It is the biography and story of Celeste's mum, Poly Styrene, the lead singer of Xray Spex. Poly was the ultinate DIY punk, making her own music, clothes, hairstyles, Writing, fonts, graphic design... she did the lot. This book is so good that you need at least two copies. It os packed full of amazing interviews, diary entries, photos and Poly's original art designs. It is a treasure trove!! Poly Styrene changed my life, and made my world turn Dayglo.
