We have a house to renovate, but seeing some of your posts (while the pics look awesome!!) makes me afraid to even start. We are going to do ours in stages, and we are getting all new windows and siding - beginning next week 😬 I hope yours gets done soon, and to your liking! Wishing you the best!
I mean, yeahhhhhhhhhh so my advice is to get multiple bids and multiple references. We went with the guy who was recced by my aunt (omg she has apologized so many times lol) and we met with 2 other people.
I think the windows will be relatively easy! My friend and her husband did their own and they’re not handy people. They had a builder friend do the first window with them, then they did the remaining windows one at a time as they could afford it.
I do think it’s a special (stupid) situation with our house and our contractor. Let me know how it goes with yours!
