Cedryn, bard, who's never held a blade in his life vs. Tarinne, seasoned merc, who would only half-ironically describe herself as a fuckmachine.

What if Cathala, Tarinne, and Cedryn were instead humans (Kai, Torunn, and Chetan respectively) in modern day Germany and formed a sometimes-techno, sometimes-metal, sometimes-whatever-I-want band called Siegesrausch ("Victory Rush", like the Warrior ability lol). Well then you get this :)

Here's a youtube playlist with some songs showing how I envision their sound. Lots of techno, some metal, and some fun pop here and there because I do what I want <3 Although I admit MOST of it is Rezz because Rezz can GET IT.

This is how Cathala (7' 3"/221 cm) and Tarinne (7' 4"/224 cm) see Cedryn (6' 4"/193 cm).

I actually got this ask before the one about family dynamics, but figured it would make more sense to set the baseline with the other one and then go into specific examples ^ ^

The only ones I’ve thought about the family life for are Cathala, Tarinne, and Cedryn. I’ll start with Cathala because she’s alphabetically first.

She, her older sister Alarien Rainwalker, their mother Kynriel Rainwalker, and their father Talidis Groveweaver lived as fishers out in northern Darkshore. The closest population center was Lor’danel, but they lived on their own and really only went into town for necessities. It was a calm, humble life to live, and Cathala and Alarien would go on their own adventures together well into young adulthood. I’ve actually drawn a few scenes from that time:

But, uh, well… they’re no longer around :( They were all in Darnassus when Teldrassil burned, and Cathala was the only one to make it out. She still has extended family, but due to her isolated living situation growing up and her general demeanor not really being “properly kaldorei” (a result of her time on Pandaria) she hasn’t had much luck connecting with them.

Someone else she would also consider family is Paolun Winterstep, the pandaren scribe who took her in after she became stranded on Pandaria. He died of old age right before the start of Legion, but he was a close uncle figure for many years. Here’s a drawing of her and him:

Cedryn’s parents are unnamed right now but he has two moms and a dad, as well as a Sentinel sister. She marched with the Alliance to Lordaeron after Teldrassil, but she’s been MIA ever since. They all lived in Winterspring as a fairly typical merchant family until they fled to Stormwind in the War of Thorns, and currently live in one of the refugee camps outside the city.

Tarinne is an only child. Her father Thywen Summerdew is a leatherworker and her mother, Alorinde Blackhelm, was a Sentinel captain before she was killed in the Third War (in the same battle in which Tarinne was captured by the Alliance). As a kid, Thywen would take her hunting and teach her basic leatherworking skills, and Alorinde taught her the ways of a Sentinel. It’s because of her mom she got into the Sentinels a little earlier than she… was really supposed to lol. Her parents had an open relationship so her mom also had the occasional casual (elf casual -- I'm talking multiple years to decades) relationship with other men and women, so Tarinne had a number of temporary parent figures over the years.
