Cafe Tiala
Reminiscent of a princess-like lifestyle, Cafe Tiala's main theme.
I was curious of this place because from outside, it looked so dainty. There are a lot of tea houses and cafes that have sprung around the city but this one got me interested. So I went there, one Sunday night whilst I was craving for something warm to drink. I was in the mood also to have my own quiet time.
Cafe Tiala is located at the 2nd floor of The Forum Bldg, Archbishop Reyes Avenue, Cebu City.
Interiors are of pink and white. There are private rooms where you can enjoy dining. Â A chandelier hangs above each private room. You also get to have your own television that is only limited to showing Korean music videos.
There are "balcony areas" Â that are on top of those private rooms. Since it is Korean owned, like most cafes, guests squat on the floor.
What I love about this cafe is that they have a lot on their menu.Â
Their menu consists of cards that offer sandwiches, rice meals, shakes, milk teas, yogurt, coffee, and sweets.
I had hot chocolate drink with their clubhouse sandwich. Buurp!
Costumes and props are available for guests to have more fun while taking pictures. :)
Dine at Cafe Tiala and enjoy some of their discounts for students, birthday celebrants, facebook posts, and couples.
Word of advice, if you want to avail of these discounts, you should prove it. Hahaha couples discount can be proven if you kiss your date on the lips in front of the waitresses!Â
PS. I kinda have a theory why this place is called Cafe Tiala. Hmmmmm, based on experience, I learned that Koreans have a little difficulty between the /r/ and /l/ sounds, so maybe this should have been Cafe Tiara. Tiara means crown, which is what princesses usually wear. But because of the language factor, they just named it Cafe Tiala.
