Just spent the last 4 hours bathing half of my plants collection because I have what looks like an ever delightful spider mite infestation. Seems small enough that I can manage it but just seems everywhere at the same time. Annoyed that it's on the majority of my favourites as well.
Here's a pic of the last time I visited Kew Gardens so I can pretend I'm there rather than here with all my problems.

Just two of the stunning leaves my pothos are throwing out at me.
It seems as though so much is changing, but I'm glad for the constant companionship my plants give me.

Feels odd that it's almost the end of October.
I've felt a bit detached from all my plants since the weather has turned, so much so that this morning I finally spent time with them for the first time since the beginning of the month.
Spent the morning cleaning the windows and reorganising the plants to maximise space and give everyone enough light now that London has become so grey.
Hope my mood picks up and I can truly appreciate the autumn colours.

Super happy with how my collection is turning out, now I've just gotta find the Burgundy!
I'm excited to take all of my plants through the cooler months, feel like I've learnt a lot since last year but I know I've got so much more to learn!

Had such a great weekend, spent most of it walking along the Thames and visiting plant places.
Got myself this babe from a local florist in Richmond and a full Heartleaf Philodendron from the local plant nursery.
Yesterday I found a stunning Ficus Elastica Ruby and a Cavandish Banana and I just couldn't deny myself.
Ultimately means I've hit 40 plant babes and I finally feel complete (is that weird to say).

Collected these three over the last week, it's been a hectic one with moving and my birthday so I was so excited finding these nearby.
So happy to have finally moved though, means I'm able to fulfill my wishes of living a far more sustainable life. Beautiful local markets, homegrown fruit and veg, freshly baked bread and sweets. So happy.

So wild to see how this guy had grown in the last month, pre lockdown he was thriving but unfortunately he did not appreciate the harsh life of a South facing window when i took him back to my parents.
He faced spider mites and my poor ratio of neem oil resulting in only keeping two of his best and newest leaves, unfortunately those half burnt off with one leaf completely dying when I brought him back to London.
Blown away by the three new leaves in the last couple of weeks, each one getting bigger and better each time.
Plants and their resilience blows my mind.
