     ❝ It looks worse than it is. ❞ gritting his teeth, the redhead pulled up his pant leg; fabric making a disgusting SQUELCHING noise as it separated from his blood-soaked skin, ❝ stitches, but I doubt its cut an artery. No broken bones either, so I consider that a plus. ❞

     He could ignore the sharp throbbing for now, but it did require attention.

“Is it that obvious?”

 once  that  plate  pokes  into  his  periphery,  he  makes a  subtle  glance  at  it  and  no  movement.   that  only  lasts  for  one  more  second  before  he  plucks  one  off   the  plate  and  downs  it whole.
