They flex, curl, and release on the edge of the tub, like they're unused to sitting idle. His head keeps lifting and his eyes glance around, not able to relax or leave himself unguarded, before he slowly sinks back against the tub. He repositions how his head rests a few times before he truly settles, like he doesn't quite know how to make or let himself be comfortable. He heaves deep sighs like he wants to put a burden down, but never truly lets any weight off his shoulders.

If you leave Arthur Morgan to relax in the bath, he can't. He doesn't know how.

They're pretty equally matched I think, I'd say roughly 70 cm (or 28 inches) at the withers. Their breeds are fictional, but physically their closest irl counterparts would be Ibizan hound and Porcelaine. Both fairly large hunting dogs.

“It seems there was a ship that landed not far from Time Square. I don’t know what the Alien wants, but I want you all to go and investigate it.” Nick said over the comm as everyone boarded onto the Quinjet.

“Do we have a physical description?” Black Widow asked, glancing to the screen as Nick nods his head.

“Here this is what she looks like.” He said when Loki perked up and glanced to see a picture of his wife standing there.

He nudged Thor who looked as he smiles when Loki immediately placed his index finger over his lips to quiet Thor.

“She looks like she’s ready to fight with all those weapons.” Sam comments as Loki’s smile turns into a smirk.

“Oh yes, I know her. She’s by far the worst person you’ll ever meet.” He said as Thor looked confused for a moment before he suddenly smirked.

“Yes, she’s known across the nine realms for eating the hearts of her victims.” Thor spoke in a grim tone as they all glanced to the duo in shock.

“What?” Tony let out an undignified squeak as he almost fell from the copilot chair.

“Why does she eat hearts?” Steve looked almost sick at the thought.

“She believes that it makes her gain powers. And… surprisingly it does. She’s almost killed us before. She may look innocent, but that’s all a facade.” Loki pipes up as the others started to get gear together.

“She’s the reason Odin only has one eye.” Thor answers as they looked to him in shocked silence when he nods. “She’s a formidable foe. I don’t know if we can truly stop her.” He said, frowning.

“Maybe with our combined strength we might stand a chance, but it’s very slim. We only escaped due to my trickster ways.” Loki said before pulling out his dagger as he looks to them.

They looked ready to take on their new ‘threat’ and Loki had to force down the bubble of laughter that threatened to break free.

“We have to surround her and make sure she doesn’t touch anyone.” Steve said in his Captain’s voice when the two brothers glanced to each other and shared a grin.

“Let Loki and I go first. We’ll distract her while you get ready to attack.” Thor said with a firm nod.

“What if she comes after you?” Sam asked when Loki shrugs.

“It’s the risk we have to take.” He said when the Quinjet landed not far from the ship where (Y/N) was waiting for Loki.

“Be careful.” Steve said as Thor and Loki nods.

“She’s dangerous, maybe we should go together.” Tony frowns.

“No, We’re gods. We have a better chance if we go first.” Thor answered as back of the Quinjet opened when they both walked out to meet (Y/N).

(Y/N) glanced up to see Loki and Thor when a warm smile spread across her face.

“Loki!” She exclaims, running towards him as the Avengers got into a fighting stance when Loki opened his arms.

“Hello my lovely Flower, how was the trip to Midgard?” He asked, wrapping his arms around her as she giggles happily.

“It was quite interesting!” She smiles before looking to the others, mirroring their confused faces. “Who are they?” She questioned.

Loki and Thor started to laugh as the Avengers looked to the duo.

“I thought you said she was a threat?” Steve demanded.

“Oh, did I? Well I am the God of lies..” Loki shrugs nonchalantly.

“What did you say about me you little shit?” (Y/N) demands, hitting his shoulder.

“Just that you eat the hearts of your victims to gain their powers.” Loki answers as she looks to him like he had grown two heads.

“Hearts? That’s disgusting! Obviously the brain would hold the most vital information that I would gain.” She harks as Thor bellows in laughter at her answer.

“Who is she?” Tony asked after shaking his head and lifting the face plate to his armor.

“This is (Y/N), my wife.” Loki grins as everyone had the nerve to looked shocked.

“Someone married you?” Sam asked as Loki glared to him.

“A mistake really.” (Y/N) comments as Loki pouts looking to her.

“Rude.” He mumbles.

“You tell people I eat hearts.” She counters with a smirk as he shrugs.

“Words really.” He said as she laughs and nudges his stomach.

“I’m (Y/N) Odin, The Goddess of nature. I would never hurt a thing. Let alone eat someone’s heart.” She giggles.

“Wow… You riled us up for nothing.” Steve comments with a sharp glare to the two Gods who shrug.

“All in good fun. She can be quite scary though.” Thor answers when (Y/N) smiles innocently.

“That is the facade.” Loki pokes her cheek as she bites his finger. “Ah! See! Starting on fingers next thing you know… Hearts!” He said and held his finger as the others started to laugh.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Loki act this… playful.” Natasha comments when she held a smile of her own.

“Well come on, your ship can be taken to the Tower.” Tony said. “Loki, Thor? You wanna drive it?” He asked.

“I’ll ride with her so I can show her where to go.” Loki answers when Thor stepped beside them.

“As will I! I haven’t seen my dear Sister-in-law in a while!” Thor said with a grin of delight.

“Frickin’ Gods.” Tony comments as the others climbed back onto the ship.

“At least Fury doesn’t have to worry about any damage.” Sam comments as the others nod.

“Still.” Steve mumbles as the Quinjet took off, leaving the trio alone when (Y/N) glances to the two brothers for a moment.

“Thanks for making me sound like a threat.” She huffs playfully as they both held matching grins. “Losers.” She comments walking towards her ship.

“Dearest (Y/N), it was all in good nature!” Thor and Loki both laughed as they followed her back when she laughed softly unable to help herself.

“Now, tell us about your trip from Asgard to Midgard.” Loki said when the doors shut as she started off towards the Tower.

“Well…” She trailed off with a soft smile.

Drivers wear the pants in the relationship, as Drivers have a higher ranking.

Lancers are chosen/picked by the Drivers, but Lancers can and will court their preferred Driver.

There's no official day for Drivers to pick new Lancers. As spaces in their crew/on their rigs open, Drivers will pick from the available pool of Lancers. Drivers learn a Lancer's reputation from gossip and word-of-mouth and vouching. Drivers will also watch a Lancer to see for themselves how good or bad a Lancer is.

A Lancer that's eager for a particular Driver to pick them will try to get friendly with that Driver's crew and find any opportunity to show off their skills and strengths when that Driver is around.

Lancers are all very possessive of their Driver.

Lancers easily outnumber Drivers by a long ways, because the Citadel is constantly training far more Lancers than Drivers, as the turnover rate for Lancers is higher and there's very often multiple Lancers paired to one Driver/Rig.

Lancers are also very protective of their Driver, as without a Driver the Lancer can't do war.

Drivers also tend to be possessive of their Lancers, especially if their Lancers are skilled.

Lancers typically make their own thundersticks, with each Lancer having a signature style that matches their throwing technique. There's also the standard thunderstick that gets churned out by the shops to load onto the big rigs for surplus and redundancy.

Drivers and Lancers are expected to sleep together, especially one to one pairings.

A lot of small Driver & Lancer(s) teams do damn near everything together, the one to one pairs tend to be very codepdant.

1230-1257 - Gorthur Gvaed is destroyed by the Nilfgaardian army on The Usurper’s orders for not joining his empire.

1264 - Geralt brings Ciri to Kaer Morhen.

1268 - Nilfgaardian Soldiers overrun the Dyn Marv caravan. (Prior to 1272 the soldiers overran the Cat Caravan)

1272 - Battle of Kaer Morhen.

So I was doing a bit of research into what the dothraki should have more realistically looked like, to make my own kind of au of the dothraki, and while doing said research it was brought up that each Khalasar really should have a set territory that they migrate around.

That put me onto thinking what part of the dothraki sea Khal Drogo might have claimed, which prompted me to look up maps of what portion of Essos does the dothraki sea cover, and then I couldn't find any maps that were clear enough for my tastes, so I mashed together a map out of the maps on this site with a bit of elbow grease and created this!

Then, of course, I had to actually decide where to put Khal Drogo's territory, and while I was doing that I decided to throw in the rest of the territories too. The source I looked at says "There are two dozen or more khalasars on the Dothraki sea", so I jammed twenty-five of the suckers in there.

Just a little something about Charles being nice to Arthur, cause I wanted some soft comfort.

Slumped down with his shoulders against a log by the scout fire, legs stretched out, ankles crossed comfortably, and his hat tipped low over his eyes. Arthur wasn’t quite asleep, but he was content to doze. Their latest escapade had taken a turn for the worse, Charles had been shot through the meat of his upper arm, John was limping on busted up foot, Sean had narrowly avoided getting his head taken off, and Arthur himself was nursing a biting twinge in his ribs from where he’d slammed them into the unforgiving edge of the roof when he scrambled to catch Javier before he cracked his head open after he fell off. Didn’t help that Arthur then had to haul John up onto a shoulder like a mean tempered sack of potatoes when Marston’s hobbling hadn’t been near quick enough to outpace their pursuers.

They had staggered back into camp, Sean immediately launching into a grand retelling for the eager audience of the folk that hadn’t been there to witness their cock-up. Arthur had dropped John in Ms Grimshaw’s lap, waved off Hosea’s concern and Dutch’s declarations, secured the camp’s share in the tithing box, then wandered off to get himself forgotten in whichever corner of the camp was least likely to have people come over to talk at him. 

Thankfully, Sean’s grandstanding had unerringly drawn the gang over to where he’d taken on the mantle of camp jester near the main fire, folk laughing and twisting each misstep Sean eagerly fed them into great scathing jokes. Leaving Arthur free to warm his bones by the scout fire without fear of interruption. Sean's way of relating stories could turn a two minute stumble into an overblown half-hour incident, so with the fodder of their half-day long comedy of errors Arthur should be safe from nosy-nellies looking for his version of events until about December.
