(Mostly disabled headcanons because I ❤️ projection!! Lots of this was made just because I hate when people make their disabilities aka Heart’s blindness a purposeful punishment.)

Juno incident related

Heart was not blinded as a intentional punishment. it was done on accident while Mind was trying to fight the gun away from Heart during the Juno incident. During which Mind ended up slashing Heart’s eye (and upper face) badly. They were later purpose removed out of worry of infection (they weren’t salvageable and it was just a risk of more harm to not having them properly dealt with)

Mind had a device installed on their throat after being shot in the throat during Juno incident, that’s why their voice is so robotic.

Mind also got minor spinal damage during the Juno incident, which caused them to have a harder time controlling their lower limbs ( fingers, hands, leg weakness, etc ). Due to those facts Mind use a cane and crutches.

Non-Juno incident

Mind’s “ mechanical hands “ are pretty much just prosthetic arms. They got them after an incident similar to what happens in the song The Man With The Skeleton Arms. Mind also has some other burn scars on them due to that incident.

Heart and Mind both prefer to use devices to write things out. Heart because of their blindness, and Mind because of their hand problems.

Soul is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids and knows ASL. This isn’t because of a specific incident, they just wear born(?) that way.

Whole also is hard of hearing and has hearing aids so it could be Soul has them as well being the closest to Whole.

When not counting music, Mind’s favorite school subject is science, Heart’s is english, and Soul’s is history.

😼 i was hoping someone would ask this- i JUST finished drawing them recently, but i'll also describe them verbally, since their appearance has changed over time. they all use she/her btw some things are the same for all of them: their hair, for example, matches that of Whole, so since I have a short ass wolfcut, so do they first up, there's Cor (Heart). At the very start I think she mostly just wore relaxed clothes, hoodies and sweats, or shorts in summer. she likes their hair, which she wears in a half-up-half-down ponytail 99% of the time, and she had brown eyes for a while, until Mind forced a Moretta on her (old kind of mask that is held in place by a button in the mouth, rendering the wearer unable to speak). it suppressed Cor's emotions, and as a last resort to express herself, her eyes began to glow different colors based on what emotion she was feeling/the intensity (trite, i know, but im a sucker for color symbolism). eventually she started decorating the different masks Mind would make for her, with red swirls for blush and red spikes for eyelashes (heart is the red one this time around). After their Juno Incident, she just wears a blindfold (that, unfortunately for Mind, does not cover the scars her nails left behind in her sister's face), but in a quest to better regulate herself, she's taken to wearing compression shirts more often. her eyes still glow occasionally if an emotion is strong enough. she wears a necklace with a heart on it, and she sewed a heart logo into a few of her sweat-sets a while back. Then there's Mens (Mind). she hasn't changed very much over time, perhaps merely growing colder in demeanor as time has gone on. she likes to dress a little more formally, think Lois Lane in Man of Steel meets Cisco Ramone from CW's The Flash. she's got these big, square-ish glasses and a BAD case of RBF. she's the only one that wears makeup frequently, and she has a scar through her right eyebrow form when Cor threw a mask at her. she IS organic (i know some people make Mind a robot, and i LOVE that, but i fear i love Human Mind too much lol). she doesnt like to put effort into her hair, so she holds it back with a headband about 95% of the time. it's rare to catch her with her hair down. she's also the only one who wears a watch frequently (a blue Casio F-91W). her eyes are ice-blue Last but certainly not least is Anima (Soul). she's pretty relaxed in her outfits too, but not so much as Cor; she opts for jeans and t-shirts a lot of the time. Sometimes if she's feeling fancy, she'll go for a nicer turtleneck or a blouse, but she likes to pair everything with her favorite lavender zip-up, or a knit pullover. her eyes are hazel, but one is lighter than the other (for reasons). her eyebrows have this Tim Burton look to them; they curl up at the middle, but still point down at the ends. she wears little 4-point star earrings. Mens is the only one to not wear a symbol representing her role as the Mind. Anima's symbol are her star earrings, and Cor obviously has her Heart stitching and necklace. Mens didn't want to participate in such frivolity. (sorry the picture's in black and white. i was too lazy to do colors, esp. since i had to redraw Mens like 6 times smh)
