Since a lot of political dipshits are pushing to end Section 230 including fucking Joseph Gordon-Levitt*, I think it's worth noting something that's underspoken of.
While people cite the liability limitation under 230 as a "giveaway 'to big tech, the actual issue is that they would get turbofucked by SLAPP suits if they tried any sort of moderation without it, and the only way around it (if you aren't rich enough to afford an army of lawyers) would be no moderation at all.
Which I note, given his role in enshittifying 4chan to be Like That, would be remaking the net in Epstein's image. And I feel like that's probably the thing we should be pointing out to show the stakes.
