This piece -"In the Shadow of Gandons regret"....as recently seen at #inspiregallery for #cbrobinson has me thinking again about how much my work is tied always to emotion and empathy and how my "emotional landscape" works really are the core of my practice....in recent months this work has focussed more inwardly and looks at issues of my experience with hidden illness and selfworth ...selftalk acceptance change and healing, can be abstract concepts to many and I do present them as such through my work. They are a continuation of sorts to my "spirit letter" series of which this piece is connected and will be shown in my solo show at @SolasArtGallery in Leitrim in September. x N. Up to the big smoke today dropping off work with the lovely Dino @inspire_galerie for a corporate gig later this week...V Exciting...one of the pieces is in viewing distance of the customs house with which it is connected. #serendipity perhaps!! I brought number one son for a wander around the #HughLaneGallery ( the new eatery there is wonderful) but the art is better!
