Family Life

Hickory grew up in a household where his mother and father were always busy and didn’t give him enough attention. When they were not busy they were like ‘go play alone i’m tired.’ which was very often. 

Hickory often times needed to make his own food even before he learned how to cook on his own. 

He struggled to communicate with his mother and father when he needed help the most, due to developing communication issues from neglect. 

Running away + Kidnapping

At age 10, Hickory decided to runaway from the heavy feeling of not being loved enough in his own household. Being a child at the time he didn’t know better.

While walking on the sidewalk alone one of the people that his parents spoke with who did maintenance around the town.

He said he would “take hickory in”

Hickory, not being taught of stranger danger had complied and got into the car. 

6 years of horrors

While Hickory was under the “care” of the maintenance man it was nice at first being paid attention too, giving a nice room, clothes, toys.

But after a week the maintenance man started to be crueler than Hickory could image. He started to lock Hickory in his room for hours, sometimes 2-3 days at a time without food or water. (tied him on the bed too so he couldn’t escape)

If Hickory did anything that made him angry he would beat on hickory to a point where Hickory’s skin scared

Age 16

When Hickory was 16 years old, he was horribly thin and tired. During one of the maintenance man’s outrages, Hickory finally lost his shit on this guy.

He had grabbed a baseball bat that belonged to the man’s son who was about the same age as Hickory at the time (if not a little older) and beat the maintenance man to death.

He made sure that the maintenance man was gone by smashing his head in with the bat over and over then his ribcage before finally grabbing a kitchen knife and stabbing him through the heart 6 times for all 6 years of torture.

Age 17

Hickory had been on the run for a few months after the murder of the man. He had taken a old backpack from a closet in the house and fled (still has the baseball bat).

He lived in an old run down shed in the backyard of an abandoned house in a few towns over from where he had escaped, but one night he heard a static sound and wandered towards it.

Long story short, he got recruited by Slenderman to be a proxy under his order. (still is at current age)

Add on's - he's a sleeper proxy and he's running because he's afraid of being punished for self defense

Health Problems

Hickory developed depression and C-PTSD/Comorbid PTSD during/after the incident of the maintenance man who treated him horribly. But the depression is not from the man, it was from his parents from how much they neglected him into thinking the ignorance was his fault, believing his parents thought he was a “bother”
