If I may recommend my favorite medieval text that I read this semester:
Love Stricken and Lost One Who Inspires Passion
A twelfth century play written in Cairo, it is performed via shadow puppets. It's a little problematic when put into context with modern texts, but may I just offer you a play hyperfixtating on butts and homoeroticism, it will at least give you a few laughs during these trying times
There's literally a character named "Penis Masturbater" and no I am not making this up
