Hear me out. Catboy yun. Xingqiu pets him to see how he reacts and he just melts (complete with purring and leaning into the touch!!). Catboy yun and Xingqiu but as that one post where abt giving the cat a kissy on his perfect lil forehead.

valentine's day:

Xingqiu holding this little malleable cat in his arms like it's a preciously fragile heirloom. Insisting on carrying yun when he falls asleep in kitty form because there's a good chance he'll unconsciously shift back and he refuses to let anyone else experience how cute he looks, or how he sleepily nuzzles into xingqiu's neck and even kneads a little at the front of his shirt. That is all his to enjoy and he will not tolerate anything else

Hear me out...possessive xingqiu AND catyun...bonus points if yun can switch forms like miko can....that's HIS kitty how DARE someone else try to pet him, or coo at him when he's sleeping as a kitty because that's HIS job and only his >:(

Wait I forgot to add xingqiu is very aware of cat like tendencies but chongyun? Chongyun has no clue he is baffled how xingqiu reads him so easy

My cat sits on the TV stand and has a habit of rhythmically thumping his tail on said TV while he watches things outside and all I can imagine is catyun doing this and steadily driving xingqiu mad
