" sukuna, i fed you wet food an hour ago. you're fine. " you felt his glaring presence behind you on the cat tree that reached the ceiling, bending down to refill the dry food bowl that belonged to the rest of the cats in the shop — excluding sukuna.

he slapped his tails on the carpet ledge, his ears planed back. you deadpanned. " i already gave you a seperate eating area and bowl; you're not getting new food every hour. you can eat the dry food to all your heart's content, " you motioned to his automatic dispenser. he clearly didn't like that answer, swatting your hand and hissing when you reached to scratch his chin.

typical of him, though. sukuna had to have been the greediest and most arrogant of the bunch. you couldn't say he was exactly fat, but he was certainly bigger than your average grown male feline.

his two tails swaying with constant signs of annoyance, pink fur designed with tattoos. 'they're natural,' you were told when you adopted him into your shop. you frankly saved yourself the claw marks of finding out yourself.

you were cleaning the litter boxes when you heard hissing in the next room. surprise, surprise — gojo and sukuna are at it again, preparing to rip each other's fur out and create another mess you have yet to clean. " hey! you two! " you seperated them, not expecting a bite on your calf when you did so. you huffed, " what now, 'kuna? "

a deep meow came from his throat, tails swaying as they normally did — harsher now. for once he sat, like he was pleading in a... rather pushy and menacing way. " you're not getting any more wet food. i told you — twice a day. thrice, if you're nice to me. "

nice? he can be nice. surely.

well, if your definition of nice is lying on your head with his heavy body curled on your diaphragm as his claws kneaded into your scalp as he purred, he was being nice — sukuna's version of nice. he glared down at your clear discomfort and struggle with his four eyes, intimidating you. his tails would brush your cheek and nose, tickling you. you sighed, ultimately giving in. " would you like raw chicken or tuna, suku? "

" meow, " he responded.

" i don't know what that means. " he hopped off of you, your face grimacing as his dirty paws used your face as leverage off the couch to prance to the feeding room. you ended up feeding him a mix of the two. how greedy!

“Husband?”

You were met with no reply, voice echoing the empty halls of Sukuna’s chambers. Silence settled into the air as you set off in search of your husband.

“Ryomen, do not ignore me.”

A frustrated sigh escaped you, temper running short. It had been almost an entire day yet your husband still had not returned from his recent raid of the neighbouring village.

Just as you brushed past you and your husband’s shared chamber a disgruntled sound caught your attention. It sounded similar to a hiss yet something was added onto the catlike noise. You peered in to find a large clump of fur slumped against the sheets.

At first you assumed it to be some sort of sacrifice Uraume had retrieved but upon further inspection it seemed to be… moving?

This… thing upon your bed seemed to be a very strange looking animal. Two bushy tails swayed lazily as it lay there. Its fur was pink and its face appeared to be slightly distorted.

Then it clicked.

“Ryomen, my husband. Is that you?”

you set your mind on a painting. you know sukuna loves being admired, worshiped, so you thought this was a great idea. he already has millions of paintings hung up of him, all ordered by himself, but this one was special. different.

he had sat for hours for the features and pose portion of the painting a few weeks ago. it’d be a lie to say it wasn’t on his mind. you kept going on and on about how this one is special, nothing ever seen before. gushing over him unusually.

the day finally came, the painting was finished. you had ordered the artist to be there as you presented the painting to your husband.

he was sitting in his throne, clad in a magnificent robe. he had his usual stoic face, but you could see the emotion behind his eyes. excitement?

you took the painting out of the artists hands, and looked at it in a way sukuna couldn’t see. you smiled widely and whispered praise into the artist’s ear. he grinned and nodded, even though he was shaking due to being in sukuna’s presence.

you looked over to your husband and spoke, “are you ready?”

“hurry it up, woman” he dismissed, impatient waving his hand and rolling his eyes.

you smirked and turned the painting over. “ta-da! do you like it?” you revealed it to him and his face faltered. it was a painting of him, yes. but as a cat. you started to think this was more-so of a gift for you.

his eyebrows furrowed. “what is this monstrosity?”

you gasped in shock at his cruel words. you turned your head back to the artists and mouthed a little apology. you then looked back at sukuna. “um, it’s you. such a cute kitty, mreow!” you walked over to his throne and started to meow in his face, encouraging him to do the same.

“no. i am not a cat.” his eyes diverted from you, and onto the male artist. “why would you accept this?”

the artist trembled even more. his mouth opened hesitantly to defend himself, but his head was sliced straight off with the flick of sukuna’s finger.

your jaw dropped and you slowly turned your head over to face him. “WHAT THE FUCK. he was sweet. you’re crazy.” you yelled.

“a crazy kitty. mreow.”

“i don’t care. this is disrespect, i won’t tolerate it.” he told you sternly. all you did was smile and set the painting down, crawling into his lap.

“bad kitty. grrr!” you growled at him, clawing at his chest playfully.

But you ignored him.

So Sukuna did what all King of Curses would do...

...he killed you.
