• Pairing: Roceit, Roman and Janus

• Human AU. A modern retelling of "Romeo and Juliet" and/or "West Side Story." Inspired by true events.

• Summary: Roman is a leader of a youth activist group. Janus is the son of a governor currently campaigning to stay in power. Theirs was a relationship that was never made to last—not when a political tyrant will do anything to get rid of all the little inconveniences.

• TWs: graphic depictions of violence, police brutality, character deaths, enforced disappearance

• Notes: I need to put it out there that this story is not for the faint of heart. When I say it's a tragedy, I do mean it. However, I must soothe you with the promise that the story will end in HOPE — the kind that can only bloom after suffering.

It is inspired by true events in my country where youth activists continue to go missing, where our police continue to abuse their power, and where our government leaders do nothing to help the nation. The poor get poorer and the rich get richer.

It's important to me to be able to talk about these things in the medium that I can. Because I want everyone to be aware that these things are happening. And that the only way we can attain a beautiful future we deserve is to keep fighting for it.

“When You Wake Up, Find Me”

Pair: Roman + Janus

Summary: Roman makes a mistake and he wakes up as a teenage boy who runs into Janus — golden eyes and human. Janus doesn’t remember him, but he does. In his next life, Roman meets Janus at a bar and falls for him once more. Roman goes through 57 long lifetimes and, in every single one, he finds Janus, loves him, and loses him all over again.

“Time Does Not Bring Relief”

Pairing: Janus + Logan (Loceit)

Summary: To say that Logan is unnerved by the existence of Janus is an understatement. Janus is an enigma—elusive, complex, shrouded with mystery.

Logan didn’t like it when things are complex. He liked it when things are predictable, when he could make logical sense out of what he sees. He’s long given up trying to understand what Janus is. On some days, he wonders if he was even real, if not for the growing collection of knickknacks from long ago and the distant tomorrow displayed on the small space by his study table. He wonders what stories haunt each object—engraved and etched on their worn-out surfaces—and feels his spirit come alive in anticipation to ask. Except, time and time again, he never does.

• Summary: Logan looked back at every memory of each defining moment he’s shared with Roman. If he played the film roll of their story backwards, it would tell him how he un-broke Roman’s heart, and how they lived their days in bliss and tender wanting, until Roman forgot all about him forever.

Or, how two characters tell their story in opposite directions — Logan backwards to a time when it all made sense, Roman chronologically as if he's understanding how there was never really any escape to their end.
