I saw this in the axolotl tag: make sure you do in depth research! A lot of people who mistreat axolotls do so by mistake; from assuming that they'll be fine with a typical fish tank setup and things like that. There are a lot of misconceptions people assume are okay; so don't go by what other people's setups are like and double check everything. But they are fun little guys and as long as you given em proper care they can live quite long :-)
Thank you! You are the kind of person I was hoping to attract with that tag haha. The friend Iām taking them from has had them for at least a couple years (Iāll find out how old they are from him) and they seem to be doing well, but Iāve been reading up on them as well. If you have any good resources that arenāt easily findable with a google search please do let me know!Ā
