Impact Training is a sacrificial year given over to learning more about God, getting a passion for the nations and having your life turned upside down. We’ll give you the opportunity to travel overseas and see how the gospel is reaching other nations, participate in the growth of a local church and equip you in sound theology and leadership skills.

You’ll have six blocks of training throughout the year, covering three different aspects:

Theological training - including the doctrine of God, doctrine of Scripture, an overview of the Old and New Testaments, and much more.

Practical equipping - covering areas such as leadership, evangelism, children’s work and youth work.

Ministry - time to pray for and prophesy over one another.

You’ll be placed in a Newfrontiers church, where you’ll have a specific project to get your teeth stuck into,. What it is depends on your gifts and the church’s needs - in the past students have worked on everything from children’s work to social action to worship leading. You’ll also receive personal discipleship, hands-on training and support throughout the project. And on top of all that there's an optional overseas trip, giving you the chance to experience church in a different culture.
