what are the marks for? i havent seen them before
basically, they have a very uncommon rate of spawning when you catch a wild pokemon!
they’re used as taglines when you send a pokemon out in battle, like ribbons, except you can only get them on wild pokemon! (and they’re pretty uncommon - i caught 131 yamper total and only 10 had marks)

oh CHRIST what a loaded question
her name is mara banks. her parents are arthur and donna banks, and they were an absolute hollywood power couple. sexy and glamorous and powerful. mara also acted as a child, and she wasn’t half-bad! she even got a golden globe nomination when was was 9!
butttttttt then when she was 11, her parents were killed in a car accident (it was probably an accident, maybe). she and her sister natasha grew up orphans in los angeles, with all sorts of bad influences breathing down their necks. mara got involved with drugs and strange men and she eventually splintered into one of those forgotten child actresses you never hear about anymore
her story picks up when she’s 30, and i’m hesitant to share the synopsis of the script she’s in bc i’m super super excited about it, but i can tell you that she’s a horrible person. she’s petty and bitter. she’s extremely paranoid re: hollywood and she hates what she knows about it (the way the media made a spectacle of the death of her parents and the way nobody protected her from how fucked up it is in the real world) but she is still desperate for relevance. she wants fame and glory and praise so badly but she’s too withdrawn and angry to ever work for it
nowadays you can find her cooped up in her apartment with her manager/boyfriend/(?? it’s extremely complicated), watching vh1 “where are they now” specials in hopes that she’ll be mentioned! her other hobbies include stealing vape pens from her manager, having meaningless flings, being forced to delete her old tweets, and lashing out at the world. she’s a real riot. we stan! (you shouldn’t stan her. it will get you cancelled)
