If you are behind the scenes and interested in the remaining positions, please apply or Ms. Samson will assign you your projects to work on.
For those that are under contract, however, you will be allowed to place your bid(s) for whichever role(s) you would like to have. Please, remember, you will only be cast in one role, but you may place a bid for as many as you like to hedge your bets. The bidding process is open now and will end 12/16. Once the bidding is closed, the roles will be cast.
OOC:
Please refer to our sideblog @cancelledhq-projects to review selected projects and to see the amount of fame points required for a bid. As stated earlier, the bidding process uses a similar method to poker. The more people that bid, the larger amount of fame points the winner will receive in a winner-takes-all claim. All roles will be randomly cast via a randomizer, but be aware that the more you bid the more of a chance you are to get selected. For example: Tommy bids 3 times, but Neta-Li bids once. The randomizer will be fed “Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, Neta-Li” to choose from.
For actors/actresses interested in a role, you must submit your bid(s) detailing for what and for how many. For instance, say Jade is interested in the role of Sally and the role requires 50 points a pop. I may submit 3 bids for that one role for a total of 150 points (3x50=150). They will be immediately taken from the current fame points total. Only if she is cast will she recoup her 150, plus whatever anyone else bid for the role. So, be strategic in your bids.
As mentioned above, only one character per role will be chosen, but you can submit bids for as many as you’d like. In terms of order in casting, I will start with the one that is worth the most and work my way down so that you will not miss out on the most amount of points possible.
For those behind the scenes and employed by Prometheus in a job that relates to production, feel free to send the main any interest in working with any project. Characters that could qualify but do not submit any direct interest to the main will randomly be assigned to different projects. The rest will be NPCs.
Any questions should be sent to the main! Good luck!
