that's valid! the show does work mostly on a last name basis, although there's something to be said about women (and nurses primarily, which is still a predominantly women-led profession) getting first-named while men get the professionalism of last names. which is why i made the decision to exclusively refer to everyone but robby by their first names. frank took some getting used to but that's who he is to me now.

hi! i am a little better now that the classes i was teaching are over; i have more time and less weirdo students to juggle lol. but i'm still kind of stressed from my doctoral thesis i am working on 😭 i basically have a month to send a full, somewhat edited version to my chair. but i'll have more time to work on it, now that classes are over!

basically each time i have a meeting with my chair, she sorta ruins my week lmao. but i won't see her for a while, so i should get back to normal soon! 😊
