a few years ago, LINDEN took a fall on the job. he broke his back and he was out of work for a while. he healed, of course. but it wasn’t quite right. he can still walk around, move and do his job. he just needs a little extra help and that’s where ALLIE comes in. if LINDEN is going to continue to do his job, then he needs pills that LAWSON stopped writing prescriptions for. ALLIE can get them for him, though, and it makes it so that LINDEN can keep on climbing electrical poles and getting a paycheck. so maybe he drinks a little too much, even for a werewolf, and so what if he has to pop two times the amount of pills than the average human - he’s got a faster metabolism and it burns off quickly. he can do his job effectively when he’s floating with less pain in his back. he’s just doing what he needs to keep making a living.
