What fills your OC with envy? Alternatively who does your OC envy and why?

Rey is envious of anyone who doesn't appreciate what they have in life, especially if they're wealthy and surrounded by excess. They just don't get it. They have access to all these nice things that others don't (money, nice clothes, nice cars, jewelry, art, good food, beautiful homes, and the ability to maintain it all). And then they have the gall to treat it like it's nothing, take it for granted, and it makes him both so envious and so angry. They don't deserve their things. He does!

Seongwon Kim

What skill does your OC need to work on improving?

Perspective and emotional regulation. Maybe a dash of self awareness. Seongwon tends to be a bit self-centered and self-serving. She mistakes her own hurts with greater societal problems and then tries to remedy them in ways that mostly harm others. If she could take a step back and look at the situation, she might recognize that, but she's too close to the pain to see beyond it.

Cass Barrett

What does your OC's love interest dislike about them?

It's funny to look at Cass' LI and go, "There are a lot of things Daniel doesn't like about Cass" but here we are. He wishes Cass would be just a little more diplomatic sometimes instead of saying whatever is on her mind at any given time. He wishes she'd take better care of herself. He'd really like her to get clean, but that conversation went poorly the first time. Mostly, I think he just dislikes that she still keeps this emotional distance between them.

Rashad Basri

What uncharitable takes would your OC have about you if they met you?

Hmmm....that's a tricky one. Rashad mostly tries to give people the benefit of the doubt. They might think my standard vocal tone is too sharp, makes me sound angrier than I actually am. Or maybe they'd think I have a poor work-life balance, but that'd be hypocritical of them.

What do your OC and Ll fight about?

Rashad and Ricardo fight about a lot of things. Or, at least, on the surface, they appear to fight about a lot of things. What they're actually fighting about is how much their relationship has changed, they're just not saying it explicitly. Ricardo doesn't like that Rashad is keeping him at arm's length and Rashad wishes he'd stop trying to come back into their life when they know they're not going to be in it for much longer.

Rashad and Wei rarely fight about anything. Mostly because the things they would fight about, they avoid bringing up at all. They occasionally bicker about misunderstandings of tone and intent because they are both very monotoned, reserved individuals who don't always say things as they mean.

Cass Barrett

What uncharitable takes would your OC have about you if they met you?

Oh, gods, she'd have so many. Too pent up, too reserved, fangless. She'd think I let too many things slide, that I'm a doormat. I don't solve my problems by taking my fist or a missile launcher to them, so obviously I'm doing something wrong.

What do your OC and Ll fight about?

Cass and Herald are another example of less fighting and more bickering, but that's more due to their dynamic. Cass gets angry at the drop of a hat and there's a part of Daniel that suspects it's due to something that happened during the fall, so he tries not to upset her too much.

Where he usually can't bite back his own anger is the topic of Sidestep the Villain. He and Cass fight about Sidestep a lot. He doesn't understand how she doesn't care about her own reputation and she can't fathom why he gives so much of a shit.

🎁 — Giving Presents to Others

Last minute, get into a brawl with another shopper kind of gift buyer here. Cass buys his gifts last minute and it kind of shows. Mostly because he needs either some organization method or a adderall perscription. Usually goes for "I saw this and thought of you" gifts rather than gifts the person might want or use. Results may vary.

🍺 — Alcohol Tolerance

This is where it gets a bit funny because Cass is 100% driven by spite and manages to get pretty far on that "oh yeah? Watch me" energy. So, if push came to shove, he could fake a high alcohol tolerance, probably even manage to walk a straight line after a handful of shots, but he's going to get home and spend an hour with his head in the toilet. He doesn't like drinking.

Seongwon Kim

💃 — Dancing

Oh, Seongwon cannot dance. At all. She's only got rhythm for sparring and fighting. I think, mostly, she just gets too caught up in her own head about it. Someone very determined might be able to ease her into a slow back and forth sway kind of dance.

🚗 — Driving

Now, this, she can do. Seongwon is actually probably the best driver out of my steps. She knows the road rules very well and could honestly chauffeur if she wanted. That doesn't mean she can't drive like a nightmare when she needs to, but take that as you will.
