Now I'm not saying that after years of being together Simon finally decided that yeah, he wants to spend the rest of his unread life with Kieren, and he might be even thinking of adoption, and having to go Christmas shopping for their kids, he would totally let them decorate the tree and put the star up, and I'm not saying that they would or Amy and Jem would spoil them.
Simon's thinking all of this as he sits on the couch for hours and Kieren's been in and out of the house numerous times. It's evening when Kieren finally plops beside Simon and asks him what he's been doing there all day. And Simon blinks and sees Kieren, embarrassed for a second but it leaves the moment he thinks that everything he's been day dreaming about can actually happen - will actually happen.
