Jedidiah Hackett Jr, he's the BIG brother older than Travis by a few years, JJ as the family calls him and most everyone else. JJ is a tired man much like his younger brother Travis.

JJ protected Bobby in the woods and got bit by the white wolf thus like his little brother Chris suffers from the werewolf curse.

From a young age JJ was always taught to protect his brothers and family. He lays down his life during The Quarry, most werewolves don't remember anything when they transform or change back but JJ is no normal man. His photographic memory makes him a different kinda werewolf, he remembers his family, his name and seems to have a good amount of control over himself.

It is with this when he sees Wolf Chris he is able to focus on keeping Chris away from the others.

In the woods with Casey and Travis if an event is missed, you could wind up shooting JJ instead of Silas.

Or in the junkyard with Dylan and Kaitlyn, if Dylan chooses to attack JJ instead of Caleb. It is met with a human-ish voice that's a low growl “Not me...him„ and JJ jumps at Caleb.

In the ending where everyone lives, JJ finds himself by his younger brother's husband/Boyfriend Casey Jay, Casey has clothes for JJ and helps him walks(As the Hacketts stay in business and life goes on)

Much like any werewolf, JJ has many moments to die. Once is in the woods with Abi and Josephine, Josephine is given her father's (Casey's) silver pocket knife as JJ is approaching to protect them Josephine takes aim to protect Abi and throws the knife and it goes into her uncle's chest.

Another is by his brother Bobby, who shoots him not realizing that he didn't switch his bullets.

Once is by Caleb in the junkyard, Caleb has a chance to slam JJ in the cars and then skewer him on a pipe.

Casey has a chance to kill JJ but it's rare he'd never attack a werewolf to kill, unless it's the white wolf aka Silas.

JJ loves his nephew and nieces, he never forgets a birthday and it always seems he gets them exactly what they want. Same with his family and Casey.

Unlike his parents, he thinks Casey is a perfect fit for Travis. As JJ once said “Look at him, you remember that time Travis was held hostage? Who was ready to give his life so Travis could live, Casey. Who carried a wounded teenage Travis after they both were beaten up by some adults for being themselves, Casey. Casey cares so much for Travis, he will throw down his life for that man. He is perfect for Travis„
