"I am an angel of the Lord."
They had been walking for a good while, only silence between them.
Ben was already fed up with the whole mysterious aura that accompanied this asshole in an accountant's disguise.
"We've been walking together for over an hour and you haven't said a fucking word. At least introduce yourself, you asshole," Ben demanded, stopping in the man's path. The man stopped, looking at him with an annoyed expression.
"My name is Castiel. I already told you," he replied with little patience. He ignored Ben and continued walking.
"I know, you damn idiot. You were shot enough times to be a sieve, and here you are, alive. You're a super, too." Ben continued walking beside him, growing more and more irritated. "What the hell are you and who sent you? The Russians or the Americans?"
Castiel sighed. It was fascinating how easily this guy, Ben, could irritate him. What was the need to curse in every sentence? Castiel disliked unnecessary words.
"I am Castiel, an angel of the Lord. And neither. I was sent to fulfill my duty to watch over and protect Dean Winchester... but I was sent here." He almost spat the last word with disgust as he looked at Ben, unable to hide his displeasure.
Now, Castiel remembered other angels explaining that it was his time to appear on screen with Dean, the sword of Michael.
This was not his mistake. He had come down to Earth hundreds of times. He should be with Dean Winchester, but upon descending, he felt a strange change in the air. He wasn't in HIS world.
And the man in front of him wasn't Dean Winchester. He was this abomination.
He had no idea how to get back because there seemed to be no angels or Heaven here. He still had his grace, but it wasn't as strong as it should be. He couldn't even use his wings, which annoyed him even more.
This must be the work of some demon trying to keep him from his duty as an angel of the Lord.
"Who the hell is Dean Winchester?" Ben made a face that Castiel found a little pleasant, though he was still annoyed.
"He's..." Castiel hesitated. There was no need to tell this stranger, who had Dean's face, everything. "It doesn't matter. I shouldn't be here."
"You told me to follow you. Trust me, I should be tearing heads off somewhere else." He gestured to both of them with disdain.
That was true. The angel had prevented Ben from continuing on his path and only let him leave that strange, dark facility if he came with him.
At first, Ben had laughed in his face with a "You really think you can stop me, pretty boy?" before trying to cut his throat with a single swipe of his hand. No head rolled on the floor.
"I really do," his strange savior had replied, appearing behind Ben. Ben almost believed the man's power was teleportation, but he was just too fast—faster than any human, of course—which he now suspected since, surprise, he was still alive.
Ben struggled with Castiel for a good while after that, begrudgingly concluding that fighting this thing was a waste of time. Apparently, it had no plans to let him go alone.
"You're not him, but your soul is based on his and you look identical to him... just a little older. Maybe you're the answer," he had said before dragging them both out of the facility.
All while a bunch of armed humans shot at them. Castiel had rushed to get in front of Ben as if to protect him, which brought a mocking smile to Ben's face. Who did this faggot think he was?
Ben tried to push him away, but the man was like a rock. He complained and tried to attack the guards, but the man stopped him again.
"What the fu—" His savior moved in front of the guards and within seconds, they all fell to the ground.
Well, he's efficient at least, Soldier Boy thought as he walked over the corpses toward the exit of this damn place with Bluey.
They had been walking through the forest for over an hour, and at some point, they had come to a road where they still hadn't seen any cars.
They would steal the first one that appeared in front of them.
"Damn it, I'm going crazy," he said, walking the way a soldier does, too defensively for being in the middle of nowhere alone. Not alone, Castiel was beside him, but he saw him as a threat too.
"You, 'Angel'..." He emphasized how ridiculous that word sounded. "Can't you do one of your miracles and give me something to fill my nose with?"
Castiel rolled his eyes.
"Don't mock me. I wouldn't do that, but even if I wanted to, I couldn't. My grace isn't working as it should. It seems only a fraction of my strength and my healing ability are functional." He said the last part to himself, perhaps trying to assess the damage.
"What year is it?" The man looked around, and for the first time, Castiel noticed his voice sounded calmer. That was better after so many annoying words.
"It should be 2008, but judging by the machinery in that place I took you from... that technology was more advanced than I remember. I must be a few years ahead," he continued to mutter to himself. Ben tried to ignore the man, maybe he was crazy like him.
"Hey, hey. I don't like that muttering shit. What do you mean, you don't know what year it is either?"
"My situation is complicated, Benjamin."
"It sounds creepy if you say it like that. Call me Ben."
"Okay, Ben." They both continued walking.

Well, I know the synopsis is supposed to come first, but I thought it would look better at the end (okay?)
What would have happened if Castiel was sent to The Boys universe without even meeting the Winchesters? Also, what would happen if he had arrived before the boys to get Soldier Boy out of his torture? A Castiel who is oblivious to human emotions and barely understands them, accompanied by this traumatized soldier who feels strangely attracted to this weirdo in a trench coat.
Well, look at me trying to write that!

I'm watching Supernatural right now and I'm on season nine. I'd already seen The Boys but it was months ago. There may be some errors in The Boys canon, sorry about that. Oh, I might also change some small details about Ben. He'll still be a violent son of a bitch, but I'll remove some things so he doesn't complicate my poor writing. I'm just doing this for fun...
I'm already writing the second part! I just wrote about 2,500 words so good luck to me.
SoooOoOO, English is not my language, so this was written in Spanish and then a translator was used. I would appreciate it if you could correct any spelling mistakes (╥﹏╥)
