I fucking love spiders.

I'm going to try and ride this out bc every other platform wants me to funnel everything into a niche. If I have a non-Naruto opinion where can I post it so my Naruto friends will still see it without posting it in the Naruto community?

That's the beauty of Tumblr. I follow people who are all interested in many of the same things as me but we don't completely overlap.

I can still yell out into the void, tag it with my mental illness and maybe someone else will see it. I've legitimately had someone reach out to me bc they saw me in the bipolar tag and wanted to know how to help their sister.

Just last week I posted a commission that I had made for my birthday and my lovely mutual @lavosse liked AND reblogged it despite not being in the fandom it's from. If I posted that in an exclusive community, that wouldn't have happened.

I wouldn't have the friends and mutuals I have now if I was limited to niche communities.

And right now we can't even TAG reblogs bc that makes it a whole new post attributed to us. I use tags to organize my blog so I can find things in the future. I can be sitting with my bestie at lunch and go "oh, did I show you the post about the chickens?" and then I can go to my search and search for the posts I tagged with "Chickens" and easily find it. Plus, the OP will know that I liked it bc along with tagging it as "Chickens" I also complimented them on their enclosure in the tags.

I want to stay here. So I'm going to keep submitting feedback every day about how stupid this update is. And I'm not going to bow to a new system of doing things. I'm going to tag what I reblog with fandoms or references or anything that helps me organize my blog.
