Does this count as “tech”? It’s vintage at least. A live link to purchase a vintage shag carpet rake for uh… raking your shag carpet I guess. Vacuums aren’t good enough for some people or something. The website also looks a bit old, judging by the blank space on either side of the page.(ps: I have a knack of running into vintage/dated websites so if you ever want to add them to your Tumblog collection let me know. I recently found one from 1988).
It does, since shag carpet was the thing when I was a kid. And honestly, it’s not really about what a vacuum can do about dust -- it’s for straightening the fibers of the carpet, and getting out the long hairs and stuff. (Yes, straightening the carpet matters! A friend knew not to go in her brother’s room because every day he’d vacuum the shag carpet in his room such that walking into it would leave telltale footprints.) Very nice find, I had never seen one before.
