Rose was minding her own business (aka reading on the couch) when she felt a heavy weight fall on her. She squeaks, getting pretty much flattened against the couch, and glances up to see who fell on her.

A more familiar gem this time, after being in search for so long in this miserable world, Peridot came across a gem that she hadn’t been expecting the least, but desperately wanted to find. One whom she wished would be able to assist with taking her home. She thought her deceased, a gem shattered, since she had not found the body.. or really where the ship had fully crashed. But that mattered little to the discovery of Jasper. Which almost made Peridot want to cry, to sob, like some pathetic weakling, which was fitting for her mostly unfixed form. “J-Jasper, you’re alive..” The gem attempted to put on a more stoic face, but she really wanted to go home, and she knew no other gem that would help her out of this situation. But... Jasper did want to go home, right?

“Where have you been all this time when I needed you?” She felt like questioning the other about this, gaining the information needed. Perhaps they had been in a healing state for many.. hours? Her sense of time had been so off the mark lately that she been required to buy one of those human objects.. a clock, what a notion she hated to consider. But now that time was over. It had to be, now they could leave this rotten little planet behind, go to the gem homeworld for resources, and she could at last be repaired! “Oh, and have you discovered any parts we could utilize to rebuild the ship, so that we may leave as soon as possible?”
