Thank you. I think the most important thing going through this was that I had friends like you who basically ordered me to be selfish for once and put myself first. (And that TheBoy has respected all my boundaries through this) So many people don’t understand that you can cut people out of your life. And that sometimes for your own mental health you need to. I admit, I struggle a lot with all the people and social circles I removed myself from. I miss them. But I wouldn’t be nearly as happy if I was still in them, ya know?

I mean, it was pretty obvious (even to those who didn’t read the book) that she was taking people who wouldn’t be missed.  It’d be weird to use it the other way.

But trying to discuss how horrible PETA is in a way that wouldn’t totally freak out LK was really challenging.

Maybe.  I just haven’t seen one in my adult life, no matter what the level of place we’re talking - scuzzy motel to nicer place.  So it seems really anachronistic, and I can’t figure out the origins?  (Though really, the guys on SPN make any double look like a twin just because they’re SO tall)
