Reminds me of the power rangers and gives off a pulp actiony vibe, are we sure this man is fully human though..

(And please tell me if he fights like them sometimes.. it’d be so goofy)

He is human! I am just pretty much never going to show what he looks like. I keep on falling in love with beautifully hilarious masked men characters in fiction, and then they always get unmasked sooooo fast, and there is a conventionally attractive guy inside, and they lose 10000 aura. I will not be doing that- so you just have to trust me! He is a human!!

And yes- he fights like a power ranger. He strikes poses, even if the situation is tonally not fit for it at all, because he is so insane and thinks he is in a cartoon

Functionally, Ike is invincible.

But- technically- he is very mortal. It’s just that he is kind of a different power tier compared to everyone else on earth.

He can survive plenty of beatings and bullets and explosions. If a building fell on him, he would be… pretty winded. If you dropped missiles on him for a couple hours, he could certainly die.

The tension of the story is never going to stem from “can Ike win??” in battle situations. It’s going to be stuff more like “can Ike save the hostage?” “Can Ike figure out the enemy’s cloaking technique?” “Can Ike survive the psychic attack?

If someone is within punching range of Ike, he clearly just wins- like Star Platinum, from Jojo.
