Glenn still had two more spellcasters to check in with, Drusilla and Harmony. He knew Ophelia shared a house with Dursilla and figured they would be the best one to see next. If he could handle the twins how hard would the black magic spellcaster be. Of course before he was able to knock on the door Ophelia called out that she'd unlocked it, foresight was weird.

Ophelia: But Carmine why would you want to see the future

Carmine: You're seriously asking that? You see it all the time

Ophelia: I don't get the appeal

Carmine: *sighs* Just come sit and show me

The two spellcasters took a seat at a corner table and Ophelia beckoned Glenn to join them. Glenn looked at the crystal ball in the middle of the table, unsure of what was going on.

Carmine: Spellcasters use these to see the future

Ophelia: Oh no, that's a common misconception

Carmine: But when you do scrying you're sitting here

Ophelia: Force of habit from my alley days but I can see the future in my mind

Carmine: *sighs* I can't which is why I need to learn to scry. Work with me here Ophelia

Ophelia: Oh sure, this is Glenn

Carmine: Not the help I was needing but hello Glenn

Ophelia: What were we doing

Carmine: You were going to show me how to see the future

Ophelia: I was? That's nice of me

Glenn: You feeling okay Ophelia

Ophelia: Hmm? Oh I did a big scry last night, they leave me a bit fuzzy

Carmine: She means scatter brained and forgetful *turning to Ophelia* I mean that with affection

Ophelia: But Carmine why do you need the crystal ball when you have your shoes? Oh, tell Glenn about your shoes! They're mindblowing

Glenn looked around the table and saw that Carmine was wearing a sparkly pair of ruby red slippers, weirdly similar to the ones from the Wizard of Oz.

Carmine: If I do can we get back to scrying?

Ophelia: Were we scrying? I love scrying! Did I ever tell you my mother could see the future?

Carmine: *sighs* So my shoes are kind of like a conductor for my powers, like a wand is for others. I have them on, I'm more powerful, can do more, so on and so forth

Glenn: That sounds cool. I'm guessing seeing the future is not your normal thing

Carmine: Not at all but I'm trying to grow if Ophelia will help me

Ophelia: You need help? Oh I can help. But Carmine why do you need to use a crystal ball? Your shoes are reflective enough

Carmine: So your suggestion is I stand bent over to see in to my shoes? I think I'd look odd Ophelia

Ophelia: What's wrong with looking odd? I look odd all the time

Carmine: I give up, clearly we're not getting any done just now. Let's talk about you Glenn

Glenn: What about me

Carmine: I'm going to guess why you're here

Ophelia: Oh, oh, I know! Pick me!

Carmine: I'm going to try use my magic Ophelia

Ophelia: Oh, oops. Do you want a hint

Carmine: No, let me have a guess

Carmine: I'm picking up... tension

Ophelia: Of course he's tense he was just next door

Carmine: Oh, are you here-

Ophelia: He wants to see Drusilla

Carmine: Pheli!

Ophelia: I'm sorry, I just love guessing games

Glenn: I'm sure you would have gotten it eventually Carmine

Carmine: *sighs* Guess I'll just stick to transfiguration

Glenn: Just?

Ophelia: That's what I tell her! Why bother with the future when you can turn a dog into a cat

Carmine: It's a bit more complex than that. But we shouldn't hold you up, they're in the tower Glenn

Glenn: See you later then. Good luck with the scrying

Ophelia: Oh are you scrying Carmine?

Carmine: *sighs extra deeply*

The only one of the coven not born a spellcaster, Carmine is naturally curious. While most of the human world was afraid of occults Carmine found their existence fascinating. Powers that allow you to do more than science? Count her in. She moved to Glimmerbrook after school and tried her best to find someone with magic.

Of course her probing had her attract unwanted attention and she was captured by hunters who believed her insistence on being human was a ruse to make them drop their guard. A witch saved her but was mortally injured in the process. She left her shoes to Carmine along with instructions on how to get to the magic realm. The shoes boost magical ability and when Carmine finally found a way to transform into a spellcaster they helped her focus her spells in the way a wand does.

Her main area of magic is transfiguration, turning one object in to another, but she would love to grow her skills. The parliament recommended she join Phoebus and his coven as he would be able to impart the historical knowledge of spellcasters she was missing having grown up human.
