Carmen: “You intimidate me, Caiphus. I’m crazy about you and think about you all the time, but when you’re here I’m so scared I’m not gonna be able to keep up with you. You are so charming and adventurous, and I’m… just normal.”

As Carmen ordered some pita and hummus, Mallory swooped in.
