“should i stand a little ways behind you and fire off a light blast so you can pretend it was you?” mara suggests with a quirk in her lip. she thinks it’s funny her roommate decided to dress up as a character with solar powers, but it’s much better than mara’s own costume. “it’ll be like a fun halloween miracle.” / @carlyserrano​

          ❝  HEY CARL !  ❞  he  calls  out  while  walking  her  way  ---  better  yet ,  stumbling .   jesse  wasn’t  exactly  used  to  wearing  miniskirts  or  high  heels ,  so  wearing  both  at  the  same  time  was ...  an  adventure .  a  challenge .  ❝  you’re  starfire !  damn ,  i  loved  that  show .   do  you  have  the  rest  of  the  titans  with  you ?  ❞  eyes  wander  around  briefly ,  searching  for  someone  whose  costume  might  match  carly’s  though  he  isn’t  really  looking .  jesse  was  never  the  best  with  splitting  his  attention  between  multiple  things ,  so  of  course  his  focus  was  completely  on  her .  ❝  if  the  guys  &  i  weren’t  doing  team  rocket ,  i  would’ve  offered  to  be  your  beast  boy !  how’s  your  hallowen  going ?  ❞

 it’s  only  the  early  afternoon  but  the  overcast  weather  combined  with  the  warm-toned  decor  really  sets  a  picturesque  halloween  .  “  i  know  we  hardly  ever  get  fall  vibes  in  socal  but  this  is  actually  super  cute  ,  ”  zara  comments  .  “  what’s  more  your  speed  ,  pumpkin  carving  or  the  corn  maze  ?  ”

       ❝  I’VE HEARD THE PEOPLE IN SUPERHERO COSTUMES  are  planning  on  taking  some  pictures  together ...  should  we  join  them ?  ❞  mina  was  well  aware  that  between  the  two  of  them ,  carly  was  the  out - going  one ,  the  one  people  wanted  in  their  pictures .  however ,  she  would  be  lying  if  she  said  her  circle  of  acquaintances  hadn’t  been  growing  at  a  reasonable  speed ,  which  was  a  good  thing .  being  surrounded  by  people  could  be  nice .  ❝  i  didn’t  know  there’d  be  so  many  but  i  guess  it  really  is  a  popular  theme .  we  might  have  to  binge  the  avengers  movies  sometime ,  ❞  she  told  her  with  a  giggle .  ❝  or  one  of  those  tv  shows ,  though  i’ve  heard  they’re  bad .  ❞

“  fore  !  ”  emine  calls  out  when  she  spots  carly  standing  a  little  too  close  the  predicted  trajectory  of  her  arrow  .  while  she’s  a  good  shot  ,  she’d  rather  not  risk  it  .  she’s  not  sure  if  the  blonde  heard  her  but  nonetheless  ,  emine  starts  to  load  an  arrow  onto  her  bow  .

“do you have a halloween costume picked out yet?” tyler’s going to be disappointed if there isn’t some sort of halloween anything this year, not when there are so many opportunities to make it look really cool. “i could give you some suggestions if not.”

she’s relieved when she finds carly outside just before the festivities properly begin. “are you going to the brunch?” mayumi isn’t one to say no to free food, which is why she’s awake before noon. “you can eat with my family if you want. my little brother is super annoying, but i think that’s how little brothers are supposed to be. are your grandparents here?” / @carlyserrano​
