Hi, I'm fairly new to adding mods and cc to my game and i was wondering if you had any cc recs? I see so many mod recs, but not a lot for cc. TIA, Carlyle
Hello! Unfortunately I don't have any proper resource for CC at the moment - one day!
However, I pretty much exclusively follow Sims 2 creators on this tumblr so my following list is a great resource albeit long!
Tea Addict has a really great resource on CC to start out with!
For starting slow and/or a very Sims-2-faithful style, I recommend the old Store Content, Stories Conversions and recolors and addons of the vanilla stuff, Michelle has loads for example. Also, Honeywell's Bespoke Build Set is an essential imo.
I'd also say the Sims 4 to 2 Build/Buy and CAS Conversions Databases, and the Sims 3t2 Database are great resources too.
For a more alpha style (I mix and match personally but many people pick a certain style), especially hairs, I recommend EvannaMari, Fake Blood, and Entropy, and AniBats has a video on more alpha-style CAS recommendations.
I feel bad for naming so few creators because so many deserve a mention but the post could get really long! My best tip is that if you see something you like, explore what else that creator has made.
Hope that helps! If you're looking for something specific like the skin default I use or anything like that just let me know!
Anyone else reading please feel free to drop your recs in the comments!

Made a bunch of little icons for my ArtFight page! Aesprite is a really fun program to use.
