I'll Stand By You|| Anthony & Carlix
Anthony slipped on his beaten Vans before grabbing his rooms keys and heading out the door. Walking down the hall, he made a quick stop by Luke’s room to grab his lookalike a new change of clothes. This hospital visit started off as a trip to visit his best friend, but now he had two people to visit. He hated finding out about his brother through one of his worst enemies, but he was just relieved that someone had told him in the first place. After grabbing the boy a change of clothes, he headed out the main doors. Climbing in his car, the boy made a speedy drive down to the nearest fast food restaurant. After collecting food for the two people who meant the most to the Aussie boy, Anthony once again made his way outside to his car. Driving as quickly as possible, he made his way to the hospital for what will probably end up being the worst night of his life. Nothing drove Anthony more insane than the fact that two people he’d give up the world for were laying in a hospital bed; both of them he could’ve lost. Wiping away a few stray tears, the tattoo covered boy pulled into the parking lot, and stepped out of the vehicle. Walking into the Emergency side of the building with the food in hand, Anthony slowly made his way up to the front desk. Asking for his brothers room, the lady quickly told him a room number, and he was on his way. Something about a hospital made his nerves go crazy, especially when there was a real reason he was here; and there were two.
Reaching his brothers room, he knocked softly, before letting himself in. His eyes darted to the boy laying in the bed, and let a weak smile spread across his lips. “H-Hey, bubba..” Stepping inside he made his way to the bedside, and took the seat next to the bed. “How’re you feeling?” He sat with his brother for a long while, as he listened to him talk about what had happened, and how he is now. After finally being convinced he was okay, and that he was going to be allowed to go home anytime soon. Remembering the food he had brought, he dug through the bag before setting two burgers on his brothers lap. “And I’ll leave your clothes on this chair, okay?” Standing up, he placed the boys fresh clothes on the once occupied chair. Smiling down at his brother, Anthony placed a kiss to the top of his head, “I love you, and I’ll see you back at the house, okay?” Turning around and walking towards the door, he pulled the door open, and peered back at his brother once more. “I mean it, I want to see you as soon as you walk through the front doors.. and don’t make me find out from Calum again, because that made me feel like a piece of shit.” Waving slightly, he stepped out of his brothers room, and closed the door softly behind him.
After visiting his brother and making sure he was perfectly fine, and everything was going to be okay, he walked down the hall once more to find his best friend. Gripping on tighter to the bag in his hand, Anthony realized he’d forgotten to ask which room the boy had been staying in. As he walked down the hall, he’d peer up into different windows to see if he could spot the curly headed lad. Seeing a familiar face, Anthony let out a breath, relieved to finally spot the boy. Opening the door slowly, he slipped inside the room, chewing on his lip as he looked at his best friend. “Hey Car, how you doing?” Normally the blue eyed boy would have teased the boy relentlessly, but he was too scared and was beyond worried about him. As he stood at his bedside he looked a look at the broken boy in the bed; wrapped up hands, wires and tubes coming from everywhere. It didn’t look like his best friend anymore, and that’s what terrified Anthony the most. Holding up the bag in the male’s view, he shook it around a little, “I brought unhealthy stuff!”
