IT IS FINISHED!! I can’t tell you how many hours/days this took me. I started this in early September, working on it sporadically. I bought the leaves and hot glue sticks, paint, sponges, clear string and brown paper. I made the papier-mâché at home. I used cardboard boxes that were going to be thrown away. I’m so tired but I’m happy that it’s done. I hope it lasts a long time. I’ve learned a lot and know what I’d do differently if I had to do it again. Tree update: I started adding leaves today and finished that last two branches with papier-mâché and paint. It’s looking like it’ll go up tomorrow and I’m so excited! 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁 possible TMI update: I’ve been in a lot of pain the last few days because of a period from hell. I’m thankful for @fristentagg and the many ways she has helped me manage my pain. Added more to the top of the tree and figured out where the branches will go. Now to reinforce the added height. Hopefully I can get to do more paper maché today.
