Driving
Not that you care, but I would consider myself a pretty decent driver. Â I would also categorize myself as a lead- foot. Â I often don't realize how fast I'm going and generally it has something to do with the fact that I am distracted by the music playing. Â I've been driving for several years and have always felt comfortable behind the wheel. Â However (and I think that other young adults feel the same), whenever I am in the car with my parents I prefer if they drive. Â Mostly because I am familiar with their driving and know that they aren't going to crash, but also I don't enjoy their constant commenting on my driving habits. Â I have a couple driving or 'car rules' whenever I drive; the first one being, seat belts on. Â The second rule is the radio must be at a volume that is divisible by two or five (I can't stand listening to a song when the volume is set on 17... it drives me nuts). Â The third and most important rule is, entertainment. Â Whenever I stop at a red light I feel obligated to entertain the other cars, by dancing (nothing else). Â Sometimes my friends join in, but sometimes they feel awkward. Â I don't care. Â The most memorable time was when I was with a friend at a red light and this gentleman next to us was talking on his cell phone (BIG MISTAKE). Â So, I decided that once the light changed to play Katy Perry's Peacock and his reaction was priceless. Â Jaw drops and he turns to look at us and I just shake my finger at him. Â Please don't use your phone while driving; haven't you seen glee.
