“First off, you’re my star student,” was his immediate reply, arms crossed in front of his chest as he glanced over at her. “And never doubt that. Besides that... For the longest time you were somebody that I was meant to protect, all until you became strong enough to protect yourself and those around you.” And now he was getting sentimental, an almost fatherly feeling washing over him that he felt towards her. Emotions are an obstacle. What a hypocrite he was.
