While Miguel had already gotten through to Sheena with regards to her ex, he still had some unfinished business with the dude. It infuriated him how shamelessly nonchalant he acted about it all. How heâd even struck the nerve to come visit her to make âamends.â Miguel wasnât the smartest man, but he could smell bullshit from a mile away. Whatever Donavanâs intentions were now, however much heâd change was neither here nor there to him. All he knew was that he had hurt the girl he cared about most and was capable of doing it again, but not under his watch. No, he made a promise to protect Sheena no matter what and thatâs exactly what he planned on doing. This Donavan fellow needed to be taught a lesson. Even more, he needed to be taken out of the picture for good. Lucky for him, Miguel knew exactly how to do it.Â
Heâd done his research and collected the manâs hotel and flight information with much more ease than heâd anticipated. After pulling a few more strings, he managed to get a copy of the manâs room key and even paid off the hotel to remain primarily empty on that floor for the evening until he handled his business. Thus, he rested back in the worn couch of the manâs measly hotel room, anxiously awaiting his arrival. When he finally heard clicks at the door, it was like music to his ears. A grin formed on his lips as the man slipped into the room, completely unaware of his presence up until the lights flickered on. âDonny boy!â He cheered in mock excitement, thumbs rubbing over the brass knuckles he was wearing. âThis is one shit room youâre staying in, bro. If you werenât such a worthless piece of shit, I mightâve even felt bad for you.âÂ
