The vampires have taken back the world after a long and bloody war. Humans are slaves, used as labour or for their blood. A small but determined group of human rebels still test the might of the vampire rule. Aria is caught while attempting to save a young boy during a vampire raid. Marked as a member of the rebellion she's taken into custody. Now she'll either be bled painfully and die or sold as a blood slave, bleed for god only knows how long and then die. Not a great choice but if she could she'd pick the former. To be a blood slave means agony, torture, humiliation and eventual death. So when The Vampire Prince claims her as his and treats her with kindness she doesnt know what to believe. All vampires were evil, vile creatures who all deserved a stake to the heart or an axe to the neck, right?

I fell in love with this story almost immediately, couldn't put it down! The characters are well-written and engaging from the very beginning. They draw you in and keep you interested as you learn more about them. I really enjoyed how sassy Aria could be and Braith's sweetness. I've read the whole series now and can honestly say I've never read a vampire romance like this before. It wouldn't be paranormal without moments of sheer terror however and it doesn't disappoint there either. Braith's father, The Vampire King, is a truly vicious monster, who thrives on the pain and suffering of even those closest to him. I truly despised him while reading this series - a great credit to the author, he is a brilliant character.

“Did you really had to tie me up again?” Seth giggled

“I’m not sure if I can trust you yet”

Seth looks at me in disbelief

“You can’t trust me? Sweetheart, we just fucked all night long! You orgasmed more times than I can count! And if I remember correctly it was round my fingers, on my mouth, on my di-“

“Enough” I said, placing the ball gag on his mouth

Seth begin to mumble and I ask

“What?” Removing the ball gag

“Just give me one more kiss” He pouts his lips

I look at him with pure rage

“C’mon, baby” He leaned forward and started to peck my lips “Just one kiss...don’t be selfish” Seth whispered

Opening my mouth so his tongue can slide in, Seth surprised me by sucking on my tongue, before starting to kiss me passionately.

When we broke the kiss, Seth hummed happily

“Thank you, beautiful”

“I need to get dinner started” I said

“What are you going to cook?”

“Grilled chicken with homemade mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables”

“Sounds delicious. You’re an amazing cook, can’t wait for it! How come do you cook so well?”

“My mom had a restaurant. I used to help her in the kitchen”

“Oh! That’s interesting. What other secrets are you keeping from me, huh?” Seth teased

“Dinner is going to be ready in 1 hour” I replace the ball gag into his mouth

Faithfully, 1 hour later I was setting up the dinner table, Seth had fallen asleep so I went to wake him up.

“Seth” I shook his shoulder softly and unbuckled the ball gag “Wake up, dinner’s ready”

“Smells really nice” He mumbled

“It’s already served on the table-“

“I wasn’t talking about dinner” Seth smirked, with his face buried on the crook of my neck “Although that smells really nice too” Seth nibs my neck

“C’mon, the food is going to get cold”

I tie him up on the table and we begin to eat in a comfortable silence.

In the middle of dinner, Seth requested

“Can I get some more juice, please?”

“Sure” I grab his cup and went to the kitchen to fill it up

“Thank you” Seth smiled widely

I sat on my chair across from him and took a sip of my own juice. Seconds later, I started to feel incredibly dizzy.

I tried to ask what was going on, but my tongue felt so heavy and before I knew it my body hit the floor with a loud thump and everything became dark.

I’ve been watching him closely for 3 months now. I know his boring routine like the back of my hand.

He wakes up at 8:30 a.m., but only gets up from the bed at precisely 8:36 a.m. every day. He then takes an 8 minutes shower at a hot temperature, causing his bathroom windows to fog.

He goes down to his kitchen, wearing only a towel around his hips, grabs an apple and two bananas from the fruit bowl and return to his bedroom. Where he takes 6 minutes to get dressed in workout clothes, so he can go through out the front door, lock it twice, make his way to the back door and tug on it to make sure it’s locked and walks a 12 minutes walk from his house to his wrestling school. Where he stays until lunch time.

At 1:15 p.m. he goes out to grab lunch. He goes to the delicatessen next door, eats a sandwich, waits for 10 minutes and walks to the Starbucks around the corner to get his double sweetened caramel latte with nonfat milk. He then proceeds to go back to his wrestling school, where he stays until 7 p.m.

He gets home at 7:12 p.m. Cook some dinner for himself, eats, play videogames until 10:35 p.m. where he goes upstairs to his bedroom, takes a mild temperature shower that lasts longer than his first morning one, around 13 minutes, lay down on his bed, jerk off twice and turn off the lights at 12:44 a.m. so he can go to sleep. To repeat the same steps the next day.

That’s why this, will be the best approach, there’s no way he will be able to read between the lines....

It is now 7:10 p.m. and he’s coming back from his school, he turn around the corner and I stare at him from underneath my car hood. As he gets closer I start to cry.

“Miss? Are you ok?” He asked

“I- I don’t know what happened” I motion to my car “It just stopped and I don’t know what to do” I hiccup “I just got here in town and I don’t know anybody” I covered my face in shamefully

“It’s ok, you don’t need to be embarrassed. There’s no need for you to be scared! I’m sure we can figure something out” He smiled

“We?” I look at him with hope upon my eyes

He nodded “I worked at a mechanics in my teen years, let me see how can I help you” He smiled widely, approaching the car

He begins to search for any problems at the engineering and says

“I’m Seth, by the way”

I sting his neck with the propofol shot

“Yeah, I know who you are” I grinned, softly pulling his unconscious body through the concrete floor....

Seth is still asleep when I straddle his hips. Looking down I get a perfect view of his body only covered by a thin sheet and his beautiful lips around the ball gag, it looks so tempting that I have to taste it.

I softly trace his lips with my tongue and to my surprise Seth moaned softly.

I repeat the action again, only this time combining soft nail scratches upon his chest and abdomen. Seth’s eyes shot open in surprise and he mumbled something incoherent around the ball gag.

I take it off his mouth and asked him to repeat it.

“Kiss me. I need it” He said

I cupped his cheeks on my hands and kissed him vigorously.

“Let me touch you, please Y/N. I need to feel your skin, I need to hold you while we fuck. Please....your skin looks so soft, you smell so good. I don’t know what the fuck is going on with me, or what kind of Stockholm syndrome is taking over me right now but I just know that I need it. I need it so bad” Seth grunts

“I can’t untie you, but I can replace the ropes for handcuffs” I grinned

“Yes” Seth laughed deviously “I’ll take it”

I grabbed two pairs of handcuffs and cuffed them together so it could create more space between his wrists and while he’s still tied up to the bed I cuffed his wrists and untied the ropes.

Seth quickly passed his arms around my waist and I get stuck in between his handcuffed wrists making him smirk

“I’m going to fucking destroy you” Seth laughed, pinning me down on the mattress

“Where am I?” Seth asked slightly groggy and pulling at the ropes around his wrists

“Safe” I answered, pressing a wet towel on his forehead lightly

“Everything’s spinning” He mumbled

“I know, baby. It will be over soon. It’s just the side effect of the sedative”

“Who are you?”

“Y/N” I answered, wetting the towel again and returning it to his forehead

“Do you want money?” He groaned

“Please! I’m not that frivolous” I scoff

“Then why?”

“You’ll find out in due time, Seth. Don’t worry about that right now”

“I’m thirsty” He rested his head on my palm

“Here, drink it” I placed the straw on his lips and Seth vigorously drinks the water

“Slow down or you’ll feel sick” I said

Seth rested his head on the concrete wall behind him.

“Are you gonna kill me?” He asked

I rolled my eyes “If I wanted to kill you, wouldn’t I have done it already?”

“Then why, Y/N?”

“It’s dinner time, would you like to eat it now?” I asked

“I don’t want anything”

“Don’t be so childish, Seth. You have to eat! I made you some spaghetti and meatballs” I smile fondly, placing the tray of food in front of him

I place one napkin on his lap and another one tugged on his t-shirt. Rolling some spaghetti on the fork I place it in front of his lips and Seth asked

“Are you going to hurt me?”
