My NEW YEARS RESOLUTION is to successfully spread enough awareness of All Hallows’ Eve and Hallowmas’ origins and it becoming a commonly known thing. If not already aware, Halloween is the Eve of the Day of the Dead. Halloween spiritual being can roam freely, through sets of rules, in our realm so we honor the souls that passed (All Souls Day). Hallowmas is All Saints Day , in which we give praise to the Lord for deliverance from the dead and the saints that protected! The skulls, skeletons, and witchcraft is for protection and in honor being one. The pumpkin is a representation of God, being it’s the light that protects your sanctuary and guides others from darkness, scares away the demons, and a sacrifice of crop to the Almighty spirit of Halloween. The date was originally placed at the end of the Wiccan or Pagan calendar (the most ancient religion) to mark the end of harvest and beginning of winter, Beltane marking the halfway mark when spirits roamed and Samhain “Sa-Wain” when they roamed again! Later astrologists like Julius Caesar and Saint Augustus changed the calendar to accommodate for the number of days for Earth to get around the sun, (July and August). The new year still remain the same for us, Team Halloween Kids, but notice that everyone neglects Halloween the day after like Hallowmas aka Dia de los Muertos isn’t a holiday! All I’m saying is sure put your Christmas decorations up or whatever cause Jesus and Saint Nicholas are saints too, but don’t get mad at me for wearing a Voodoo (voodoo means “spirit of God”)Papa Legba costume, shouting Halloween is over! Well guess I got news for you pals! I invoked the spirit during the witching hour this Hallows Eve and now have Samhain (the Great Autumn Spirit) rushing through my veins! And plan to do something about it this year! Cheers to 2020!
