”Is this thing on?.. Ah! Okay, hello! My name is Cas, and I am the captain of the Invincible II!”
“That’s the ship name right—?”
“Uhh, we’ve began a recent project, titled the.. uhhh…”
there’s some shuffling noises, and some quiet arguing, before finally Cas says,
“Hfhfh SHH. Sh.” They cleared their throat. “Project titled ‘Multiverse Calamity Investigation.’ That’s a mouthful. Anywho, we’re exploring the multiverse. I think? I don’t know, this entire thing was the Head Engineer’s job— Hey, back off from the microphone!”
There is some more unintelligible arguing, along with loud shuffling, a crashing sound, and some yelling.
Finally, the video turned on.
The woman looked surprised, before letting out a frustrated sigh.
“Hey, you idiots didn’t have the camera on!” She interrupted the fight, tilting the view to show them as well.
“I blame Engie!” The one in the yellow jumpsuit said. Their voice matched up with the one who’d spoken previously.
“HEY!” The engineer said offendedly.
