STARTER!

The sunken scrolls were confusing to say the least. All about the history of the Splatlands, and also about the current trends–both of which she was unfortunately unaware of. And to top that all off, there were digital logs of what had happened here in Alterna in a language that was lost to time. She was lucky, to say the least, that she had been studying it for years now, but it still took time and energy that could be focused on helping Agent 3.

After looking over a particularly rough translation–magic crystals from their cephalopodic ancestors?–she set the paper down and found herself staring at the treasures that Agent 3 had fought some of the members of Deep Cut for. Hmmm... puzzling.

" ... Honorary Knight?? " Teyvat was vast, as Kira was quickly learning in her travels. So many faces in each individual nation... It was a bit overwhelming, actually, to know just how full the world was. So coincidentally coming across a familiar face was uncommon to say the least. Kira was quite surprised to see an honorary knight of the Knights of Favonius while she was traveling in Fontaine.

But, well, maybe the knight would be surprised to see the library assistant of the Favonius Library here of all places.

He could hear something in the distance, but couldn't focus. His last money had been spent on a brand-new color palette that could improve his next painting. Thus, leaving him with minimal food and almost no water for the entire day. His lips were chapped and dry; he could barely see straight and nearly crashed into a pole while walking, until he blinked and rubbed his eyes when he saw a familiar figure.

It wasn't common to find a human all the way in Guyun Stone Forest... The islands were dangerous and littered with all sorts of monsters, and even one islet contained many Ruin Guards. And those few who did almost always ended up injured one way or another.

That's why Mipha frequented these islands, just in case someone was in need of her healing. The Zora mostly kept to themselves with their underwater civilization...but Mipha always had a fascination for the humans. But most of the people she healed didn't know her kind existed.

Permanent Starter Calls - Always Accepting

❝ You know, I think if I miss one more balloon on this challenge I will actually quit. ❞ Shelly grumbled as they flopped down on the floor of the camp, sprawling out their limbs in a way that almost resembled a starfish. They squinted their eyes against the fake, yet intensely bright sun. This Agent work was exhausting, and Shelly was starting to not see the real point as to why they were doing it.

The 50th attempt on a timed balloon kettle, anyway.

" You're a...what? " Stelle had seen a lot of strange - well, what could be counted as 'strange' when you don't remember what's 'normal' anyway? - things since boarding the Astral Express. Especially during her time in Penacony where things were just...weird. Even by her standards. But this was definitely one of the more bizarre things she has come across.

Octopus Day!!! - No Longer Accepting

❝ Really, I'm truly sorry to be bothering you like this...! ❞ Marina waved her hands in a worried manner before folding them at her waist. She was often anxious about various things-but this had her even more so than normal. If Pearl were here things may have been different, but this was something she had to do herself.

And while her reason for being here was not terribly unfortunate circumstances-Eight had fixed everything at this point, talking to Naomi was just a thing she felt like she should do. But here, in person again, she couldn't help but be reminded of the moment that had changed her life for the better.

Perhaps that was what was really making her anxious-but she had a feeling Naomi was mostly unaware of that reasoning. But on the other hand...she could never quite get what was going on in their head.

Well, we figured it out... less figured it out more solved the problem because the problem was a game I made? ❞

KNY Starter Call - Still Accepting

It was a Hashira's job-because of their ability to do so-to slay as many demons as feasibly possible. If a demon was found to be too strong for lower ranked slayers, then it was passed onto them. There were some days where they weren't tasked with defeating some powerful demon that had been spotted or following a lead that they found-and on those nights it was more about following your crow and saving innocent citizens.

It wasn't entirely out of the realm of possibilities then that two hashiras would cross paths in their wake-Giyuu just tended to try and avoid it whenever he could. It was a wasted time of running there when he could have run in the other direction-and if he was being honest with himself, he didn't really want to deal with the confrontation.

He was, however, glad that it was Naomi-and not... say, any of the other Hashira. Many of them were personalities to say the least, but there were one or two he could stand.
